dA is the BEST place for tutorials...Seriously, I'm not joking. There are a couple of other sites I frequent that have some good Photoshop tutorials, but it seems to me like dA's tutorial galleries are populated with better tutorials that were written BY the artists, FOR the artists. No tacky "how to make a pixel stretch" or "how to blend celebrities in 5 seconds" here. For Real, I Swear Yeah, yeah, I know, LOOOONGGG absence from DeviantART. So shoot me. But I've got my subscription back, and I feel like I'm starting to get back into my design groove again, so I'm back to DA. I've got a manipulation up my sleeve (just gathering the right stock at this point), plus I'm plotting this domain switcheroo in which my personal site becomes my portfolio, and I get a new domain for my personal site. Confusing? Nah. That's two new layouts I get to play with. Actually, I'm planning on reviving a certain portfolio layout I never used. It'll be fun, right?
